Cut the Citterio Sofficette tray in half and spray both sides with the water-based spray paint.
Once the paint is dry, glue the two parts together along the edges to create a container.
Finally, decorate the pen holder with the eyes, pompoms and coloured pipe cleaners, bent into the shape of ears or antennae.
