Beat the eggs then add the pancetta, grated Parmigiano, one carrot cut into thin slices, and the courgette cut into thin rounds. Place the shortcrust into a round pie pan and fill with the egg filling.
Bake at 180 °C for about 20 minutes. Remove, let cool, and cut out a slice that’s about ¼ of the entire savoury pie.
Now all you have to do is decorate the pie to turn it into a monster: salami for the hair, a piece of cheese and carrots, peas and olives for the eyes, prosciutto cotto sticks or salami for monstrous teeth and...let your imagination run wild!
