Citterio means Cooked Ham of a superior quality and exceptional flavour. The Grancotto di Vignola uses only the best Italian pigs’ thighs from selected farms, prepared by the experts of Casa Citterio. The pigs’ thighs are cooked slowly in steam ovens for at least 16 hours, each thigh in its own pot, with constant monitoring of the temperature and humidity.
Tender and smooth to the palate and with a bright pink colour, the Grancotto di Vignola, a High Quality cooked ham, is known for its delicate aroma and mild and refined flavour. Available in both noce and botticella formats.
