Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sandwich loaf
  • 1 carrot
  • 6 American cheese
  • 1 package of pitted black olives
  • 1 package of pitted green olives
  • 1 cucumber
  • 5 slices of cooked ham, not too thin

Preparation

Toast the slices of sandwich loaf. Arrange on top of each one a slice of American cheese and then a slice of ham cut into a triangle half the size of the cheese slice. With a small knife, make half-moons of the cheese slices and ham to make the scales of the little fish.  With a slice of carrot cut in half make the tail, and use the scraps of cheese and cooked ham to make the ocean waves. With a slice of cucumber, a slice of black olive and a small piece of cheese, make the fish’s eye. Use the rings cut from the green and black olives of different diameters to make air bubbles.

Serve the fish-shaped sandwiches to your children!

Buon appetito ;-)
